Kin of Ettins was the quintessential DFW doom metal band, active from at least 2009 through early 2017. I've known their lead guitar player Jason Gully for over two decades, having worked with him in a corporate job from 2003-2004 and later reconnecting in 2010, when he first attended my Lost Art Open Mic in support of spoken word artist Shanna Hale. I conducted an interview of Jason and Kin of Ettins frontman Jotun in 2014.
